Lead Settings

Lead Settings let you manage your preferences related to the services that you offer consumers and the area that you provide services.
In Lead Settings you can add, edit, and remove the categories related to the services that you provide your customers.
You can also change the distance that you are willing to travel for jobs and add, edit, or delete specific postcodes that you prefer working in.

The Categories option is used to manage the types of services that you provide your customers. Categories are added to your settings when you sign up for a Tradiecore account. However they can be changed as needed. To add, edit, or delete any category, follow these steps:

1. On the To Do screen, select Settings (by clicking the icon at the top right of the screen).
2. Select Lead Settings. The Lead Settings screen is displayed, showing you the number of Categories that you provide services for and your Coverage Area.
3. To view and change your categories, select Categories. This displays the Categories screen with all the services that you provide.
4. To add a new category, select Add new category.
5. In the Add new category screen, either
   a. use the search option to look for a specific category or,
   b. scroll down the list of all available categories (the categories are listed in alphabetical order).
6. Select the checkboxes of the categories that you want to add.
   Each checkbox has sub categories that you can use to further specify the services that you provide.
7. Expand a category to view the available sub categories by selecting the row.
   If the checkbox next to a main category has a tick mark, it indicates that you have selected all the sub categories as services you provide to your customers.
   If the checkbox next to a main category has a dash, it indicates that you have selected only some of the sub category options as services you provide your customers.
8. To remove a category, unselect the checkbox next to the relevant category.
9. To remove sub categories, expand the main category, then unselect the sub categories that you do not provide service for.
10. Once you are done, select Update.
    A confirmation message will be displayed.

Depending on the Categories you select, you may be asked to enter licence information related to the category. To enter licence information:

1. If a category requires a licence, when you select Update the confirmation message will display the Enter Licences option.
2. Select Enter Licences.
   This displays the Licences screen.
3. Select Add New or Use my licences.
4. If you select Add New in the New licence screen, enter the following:
   a. State
   b. Licensing authority
   c. Licence number
5. Select Add Licence.
   A confirmation message will be displayed about the pending approval of your licence.
   When you enter licence information, it will undergo a review and approval process. This process is usually completed within 1 business day.
6. If you select Use My licences, a confirmation message will be displayed about the pending review.

The Coverage Area option is used to define the area in which you operate. You can specify a maximum driving distance. Tradiecore will use the maximum driving distance as the radius from which to define your operational area. Your Coverage Area is initially defined when you register with Tradiecore. However, you can change it as needed.
To add, edit, or delete your coverage area, follow these steps:

1. On the To Do screen, select Settings (by clicking the icon at the top right of the screen).
2. Select Lead Settings. The Lead Settings screen is displayed, showing you the number of Categories that you provide services for and your Coverage Area.
3. To view and change your service area, select Coverage Area. This displays the Coverage area screen with your maximum driving distance and the postcodes that you have selected.
   The from postcode row shows you the initial postcode that you entered when creating your account. Tradiecore uses the from postcode and the max driving distance to determine your coverage area.
4. To change the from postcode, select the row and enter the new postcode you want in the Centre postcode screen.
   This will change the suburbs and the postcodes shown to you in the Coverage area screen.
5. Unselect or select postcodes that you want for each of the areas listed in on the Coverage area screen.
6. Expand a suburb to view the available postcodes by selecting the row.
   If the checkbox next to a main suburb has a tick mark, it indicates that you have selected all the postcodes as areas in which you provide service to your customers.
   If the checkbox next to an area has a dash, it indicates that you have selected only some of the postcodes as areas that you prefer to work in.

You can now visually see the area that you offer your services. To see a map of your coverage area,

1. On the To Do screen, select Settings (by clicking the icon at the top right of the screen).
2. Select Lead Settings. The Lead Settings screen is displayed, showing you the number of Categories that you provide services for and your Coverage Area.
3. On the Coverage area screen, select View in map to open your Coverage area map.
   The map view shows the full area that you are eligible to provide service in according to your from postcode and the max driving distance that you have entered.
   The area in red shows you all the eligible suburbs and the area highlighted in blue shows you all the suburbs and postcodes that you have selected to work in.
   Your from postcode is indicated with a home icon.
